Having Mountaintop Experiences
Christ’s love extends to all. We are the ones to make the love of God in Christ real to others. Recall how someone who loved us dearly was so comforting and encouraging.

How have we come to Jesus?
Jesus came to join us to the chosen of God. By his life we are made equals to those from the lineage of Abraham. By his death we have been assured eternal life. The rest of Christmas tends to be a tale of great excess, likely diverting our eyes from the reality and importance of Jesus birth, death, and resurrection.

Where have we gone right?
The registration in the first century is the background of how the Savior was born in Bethlehem, which translates as “The house of bread”. The Bread of Life, Jesus Christ was born to give us eternal salvation by indwelling in Christ, even eating his precious body in our Eucharist. As the birth of Jesus is narrated, angels praise God, shepherds come to adore him, and on Epiphany the wise men come to give him gifts. The humble scene is transformed into a glorious celebration that is retold every Christmas by Christians worldwide.

Insignificant?
What God had happen in an insignificant little girl called Mary made the most profound impact on Planet Earth that has never before or after been witnessed. Insignificant people always do significant good in the world with God’s wise guidance.

Christ is on his way
The coming of Christ in the first century was announced by John the Baptist. Now in the twenty-first century, we again hear the same words of John, and his advice to get our lives and hearts prepared for Christ’s coming again, not as a baby, but as the King of the Universe, Lord of lord’s, and King of Kings. Are we ready? Christ is on his way.

Are we getting ready?
Advent is a time for review, reflection, revision, and re-visioning. What will we change for the better? What will we leave behind that was unproductive? How do we make our way to the Lord and for the Lord straighter?

Put in everything
Giving is always honored by God, not the amount but the spirit in which we give it. And serving is a way to give without costing us anything. But we should be gracious receivers as well; God never forgets our efforts, our gifts, or our service.

Pressing on to Achieve Our Education
The spirit of excellence calls us to higher values and higher goals than does the world call us. We are to be people of higher standards in a world of mediocrity. Our Lord did not settle for second best. He was the greatest of all time and is always our example as we participate in the life of the Risen Christ.
